Jasmine Stowers is part of the 2007 Team USA roster heading to the IAAF World Youth Championships from July 11-15 in Ostrava, Czech Republic, according to USATF.org.
Stowers fourth in hurdles at World Youth Championships 7/14/07 Ostrava, Czech Republic.
Stowers ran a 13.70 final and in the preliminaries on Saturday, the Bulldog, also a member of Quick Striders, advanced to the semi-finals with a best heat two time of 13.74. Teammate Julian Purvis won the event in 13.41. In the semi-finals Stowers finished in 13.52 seconds.

Pendleton hurdle sensation Jasmine Stowers set a personal best of 8.02 seconds in the 55-hurdles enroute to the win over Harding University's (N.C.) Ashley Bethune (8.21) at the Clemson HS Invitational.

State record holder runs 8.79 in finals
Stowers fourth in 60 hurdles at UNC Opener
Quick Striders hurdler and 100-meter hurdle state record holder (13.90) Jasmine Stowers (Pendleton) placed fourth in the finals of the 60-meter hurdles at the UNC Opener Saturday, Jan. 13 in Chapel Hill.
Stowers ran a 8.79 time in the finals and 8.84 time in the preliminaries, where she also placed fourth.
Stowers set a new freshman class high school national record in the event, according to Quick Striders club coach K.B. Brown.
Stowers is entered in the Eastern High School Challenge, which takes place from January 19-20 in Chapel Hill.
